To the Oncologist

I had my 3 month follow up doctor appt. to my Pet/CT scan yesterday.

All but my brain is cancer free. See my onocologist in SIX months.
YEAH

I had a seizure yesterday before I went to my oncologist. If we can just
get those brain tumors in control I could be WELL.

I go back for another MRI i 2 .5 months. We'll see then.

Life is still great here and I slept from Tues. at 2 PM to Weds. at 2 PM
now I am up to make Butter Nut Squash Soup.

love to all of you,
you walk with me

  1. I've been wondering how it went. That's great news!! You've come a long way baby! I hope you get more good news in 2.5 months.

Enjoy your butternut squash soup. I've been trying to make one soup a week. It just makes the house feel homey with a pot of soup on plus there is extra for the next night's dinner!

Have a nice evening and take a peak outside. My studio faces the moonrise and we have a beautiful full harvest moon tonight....maybe you do also!

Sending hugs and happy thoughts ~ Jenn

  7. Yay, 6 months is great! I've been making butternut squash soup, too. Three times in two weeks. Chicken broth, apple cider, squash, frozen hash browns to thicken it, start with sausage and onions, add ginger, nutmeg and cayenne for a kick, add some cream at the end (half and half works but heavy cream is better, taste-wise).

  9. That's great news Deena, I will continue to pray for you. I have had two clear PET scans and I have another scheduled in December; I had Stage 3 Melanoma that manifested as a female cancer. We are going to have a great Christmas this year!
