Dear Deena,
ReplyDeleteI am just catching up with all your updates and I wanted to let you know I am thinking and praying for you...your spirit is truly inspirational.
I love all your autumn banners especially the little girl with the pumpkin. I can't believe you have the time for an autumn open house....your amazing. That's good ~ it will take your mind off of things and decorating is always fun. I may join if I ever catch up on this end but for sure I'll be visiting all the homes on the 15th.
Wishing and praying for strength and good health for you, your Mom and your family.
Feel a hug from a friend.
God Bless.
The pumpkin is nearly as sweet as you are my friend. May the next two days be filled with rest and peace and laughter and joy as you walk with the Lord and allow Him to be all you need.
ReplyDeleteIt is not silly to be concerned about losing your hair (again). You are in my prayers daily. Please don't worry about answering comments. It is enough just to write to you and see your pretty blog!
ReplyDeleteMuch love, Debra
I'm waaay in rural Missoura down by the water...I stop at a new shop for Primitive Rug Hookers...I'm talkin some "The Museum and Arts" biz with Katie and guess who she knows and reads everyday???!! Yep, Deena's Story. What a small world you have made it with your talents and compassion on your blogs and your The Primitive Gathering! Katie faithfully follows you and PG and found many others from your sites. See what you do girl? See how you are! Brighter than most starz...thatz you, thatz how you are. Glad "she" got home to you alright, from my heart to yours, FOREVER. church/n

Hi Deena,
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are so with you. Radiation of the brain is hard but my 75 year old mom made it through. She was just VERY tired, so take care of yourself and knows that you are in the palm of Gods hand!
KAY
Hi Deena- it's been a while since I checked in. Your strength still amazes me...and inspires me, too.
ReplyDeleteD.
OOHh you are so sweet!! iam sooooo glad you liked it!! it had your name all over it..and that pumpkin is sooooo adorable!!! have a wonderful 2 days off and may your troubles be in gods hands!!
ReplyDeleteThe 'counting your blessings' pumpkin is really cute and I want you to know how diligently I am counting mine. Deena, my wish for you is that this latest treatment will help greatly despite the pain and discomfort you are going through yet again. I feel guilty leaving on my long awaited trip (Wed.) and knowing you are stuck there being zapped again. I remember the long weeks of my radiation treatment, the energy it took just to get to the hospital every day. But, here I am still, able to pray hard for your recovery to good health my dear.
ReplyDeleteI will be checking on your progress while gone - and when I return at the end of Oct. I hope you are done with treatment and feeling so much better.
My love, and Bob's, will be crossing the ocean from France every single day!
Continue to be strong and an inspiration to every one. My granddaughter is looking for a role model - she has to write a paper for 6th grade. I think I've found mine - and I'm smiling at you right now!
Huge but gentle hugs - Mary.
Deena,
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin is lovely and will look great in your home. I haven't done any of my autumn decor yet, as I've just been too busy with other things. The boys and I did do a bit of decorating outside last weekend. They were anxious to put up some ghosts and pumpkin decorations.
Glad you've had a break from the radiation. I'm keeping you in my prayers, as always.
Blessings,
Mary
How wonderful that a dear freind took the time to lift you up like this. What a blessing for you! You so deserve many many nice gifts and surprizes .
ReplyDeleteRest on your days off...Ill keep praying. Jackie O
Hi Deena,
ReplyDeleteI was just introduced to your blog through my Aunt Cindy. Please know that you have one more person who will be praying for you.
In His Love,
Angie in OH
A pink pumpkin - now who would have thought of that! It's great.
ReplyDeleteHave a good couple of days off.
Hugs.
Just LOVE that pumpkin!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers, especially now with all you are going through. Your faith, courage, and especially your honest openness about your journey has been such an encouragement to ME, especially! Thank you for that! Hope today is special!!!!
Cora
