  1. sweet joys, dear deena.....happy to hear that you are feeling better with each day...and hope you are able to attend and watch the race for a bit....just to feel the energy, healing and love from all the walkers...but if not....then next time!
have a wonderful night, sweet friend....and good rest!
    hugs and prayers,

  2. Only 14 days until you're finished!! Fabulous!!

The Race is on Mother's Day here in Philly. This will be my first time to walk as a survivor. I walked from 1999 to 2004, but haven't been able to walk since then because of, what else, breast cancer. I'm looking forward to being part of the sea of pink, though I know it's going to be overwhelming. I'll be walking for you and Sherry and my mom and all our BC sisters!

  3. and thank you sweet friend for the remembrance of our two ladies needing prayers.....sweet thoughts..

  4. The rose illustration is so pretty. I love all wild birds and have spent many hours over the years watching them at my backyard feeders . . . however, we don't have some of the stunning birds you have in Illinois--the Tanagers and Orioles, among others. You are so blessed. I am praying for your friends each day. ~Jann

  5. I pray that these last 14 days will speed by and be filled with simple pleasures to comfort you!

  6. I'm ashamed to admit that I'm not reading a lovely book like Orange Mint and Honey but a detective novel by Martha Grimes. I love your list of joys - they just make me feel good. Get better each day and Happy Mother's Day.

  7. I love your joys Deena! Have a beautiful Mother's Day!

  8. Hi Deena,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you are enjoying spring and from your joy list it looks like you are. I think of you every day hoping you are feeling good & that this part of life's journey will soon be behind you. I hope your Mother's Day is the best & that you will have a great weekend enjoying your family & your lovely home by the woods. Love & hugs to you Deena Pink Princess Warrior.

  9. I've missed a couple of days day was filled with doctor appts. and the other, I spent with a little granddaughter with the dreaded
CHICKEN POX ! She needed company and good things to eat and movies to watch with her Memaw....It did my heart more good than hers, probably !!
Thanks for sharing your lovely joys...

  10. Precious joys, Deena! And YEAH ~ 14 days to the last chemo!!!!!!

Doesn't get much better than hot bubble baths, hearing the birds sing, & sleeping the entire night!

    Love you,
    Angelic Accents

I STILL remember my count down to my last chemo....
    WE LOVE YOU!!!
Amy (Mom to the Four Sisters)
