Lost in Space

I am so sorry. I haven't posted for so long. My brain is out of sync.

The holidays were good . We had our Christmas breakfast. I didn't even get the camera out, my brain doesn't remember how to take pix.

We have no measurable snow and no cold days. I try to stay in. I fall down when I get the mail so I let Rich do that.  ** FootLoose** is on the radio and it reminds me that Kevin Bacon has a new show premiering on Monday!!

I RECEIVED SOME ORIGINS GINGER LOTION, A LOVELY OWL ORNAMENT, A COPPER OWL, A NEW COFFEE MAKER AND PICTURES OF MY
JACKSON GRANDSONS AND THEY ARE ALREADY FRAMED AND HANGING IN THE DINING ROOM. I WILL POST SOME PIX OF
THINGS TODAY IF I CAN.

SHARE what your best presents were, PLEASE

  1. Deena, it is so good to see your post. One of my most favorite gifts this year was hot pink Converse Stars from my oldest son. He gave all the family Stars, each receiving a different color. It was FUN!

  2. Great to see you here again. If I had to choose a favorite it would have to be the vacation my Mom has given to Warren and I. In May we will go to Tennessee for a few days to enjoy some Southern Gospel concerts. Four, to be exact. Time with Warren and my favorite groups? Priceless. I cried. Real tears...ugly cry. But I was thrilled.
My second favorite gift was a cast iron tea pot from Warren and our oldest son. They went together because it was kind of pricey. I adore it.
We laughed a lot when my brother and sister in law gave the kids blue one piece lounge suits. They are so funny looking. They had to put them on and model them for us....that was just ridiculous.
Family is great. So glad to see that you are enjoying yours so much.

  3. Money to spend on things I needed. But most of all I love everything my girls did for me. Everything was so full of thought.

I think of you often, Deena. Spring will come soon and you can sit on the deck and enjoy the birds and everything. I'm glad you had a good Christmas. God bless you, Diane

  7. It's wonderful to hear from you, Deena. Glad to know your family had a nice Christmas. We haven't had snow either but I actually would enjoy seeing some. I might not feel that way if I had to travel in it or go to work in the snow. I just love the way snow makes everything look so beautiful. My family had a quiet but nice Christmas. I received several gifts that I really like but my favorite was some new bakeware. I love to bake so that was very appreciated. I still think of you often and wonder how you are doing. You are permanently on my prayer list. I am sorry about the side effects you are having but you are alive, enjoying your family and that is wonderful. We will pray that you continue to improve. Please stay in touch on this blog because so many people love you, care about what you are and have been dealing with for so long. I hope you and Rich have a nice weekend. Marianne
