About me

my eyesight is a bit better I think

seems my hair is thinning

my headaches are mild

I am gaining a bit of weight again because of the steriods

I miss my walks..but bad eyesight, hearing and winding wooded roads do not mix

Thoughts

do not take Hormone replacements.. I think ( positive) they started my cancer

eat healthy ..organic if possible

drink lots of water

make sure those you love KNOW it!!

Trust in God

when God calls you to help others,do it if you can

Tis Friday

Hello my friends!!

It's been 2 weeks since finishing chemo Praise God, I feel good. Today I went for my Pet /CT scan and I expect the results next Friday 6/13 when I see my oncologist again. I prayed for good news , and prayed while I was in the tank today too.

I saw Dr Jones today also, my plastic surgeon, I return in Sept to schedule the last of reconstructive surgery after radiation is done.

Next week is full of appointments Tues 6/10 is my echo cardiogram, Thurs 6/12 I see my Radiation Doc to get ready for treatments

&

Friday 6/13 I see my oncologist for my scan results & my 2 continuing IV meds, Herceptin & Zometa.

I've been tossing this idea around all week
I want to host an online Garden Walk
hoping lots of bloggers will join.

I'd like each participants site to have the option
of clicking
to fund mammograms

(at the left on my blog)

Any donations to the Komen Foundation would have to be made by clicking HERE

I'd also like votes for the favorite garden
& the winning Garden gets a hand made journal from
my hands, with a lovely garden theme.

My dream is to SOMEDAY make this a local
event here in the Peoria Area with nearby gardens participating

with the fee for

admissions going to the Komen Foundation.

I'm tossing this out for you to get ready for now.
I'm hoping a virtual garden tour date 6/15/2008
so start taking pictures now..so we'll have a variety of
blooms and greens to share.

Birds, butterflies, toads, bugs, wildlife and garden art
are desired too!
