ReplyDeleteAwwwww...thank you sweet friend. What a special award! One I treasure since it comes from you!
ReplyDeleteGosh, it seems f-o-r-e-v-e-r since I've been able to visit you. You've been very busy and I've enjoyed each and every post I've missed. I'm sorry the chemo is giving it such a hard time, but it's working. Praise God!
We had a ball on our California trip, but it's always nice to return home. I'm still gradually catching up on things around here. (Just in time before company comes next week...our daughter and my Mom and Aunt.)
Hugs!

Thank you my friend! Praying that you feel better soon and can eat. What a pretty old Victorian. I'd love to have a house like that, if it wasn't for all the upkeep!

Hi Deena,
ReplyDeleteI have been gone for almost a week to Ohio visiting kids and grandkids, so I haven't been in touch with you lately. I do hope you are feeling okay and not being sick from your chemo. Last time I was in touch you had the flu. I pray you are completely over that, too.
Congratulations on your award. You are very deserving.

ReplyDeleteHey Mrs. Deena!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the award!
I am doing a Give Away this week in honor of two women in my life that I lost to cancer. I wanted to do it this way to boost Cancer awareness and encourage people to be proactive. It was not a light hearted post and the comments were pretty sad too. But it seemed to be the right thing to do and I hope that it honored people like you who are warriors against this disease, who are battling bravely with grace, and that ever present smile. Be blessed Deena.
Jennifer
Another award for you..no surprise, well deserved!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing yours with me.
Grateful's:
My husband is home for 3-4 days, every 6 weeks, it's really good.
The "honey do list" list alone much less I don't have to eat alone and can go to the parks at night cause he's with me while we walk the dog and listen to the frogs and look at the water.
I like cooking for him, I miss having family to cook for. We can talk without worrying about cell minutes or dead batteries or no bars on cell areas.
Let's see, oh so many grateful's.
I love being able to see and I am so grateful for my hands to draw, sew and cook and petting Jack and holding my husband's hand. I don't get headaches anymore. I can walk without falling down and don't have to be scared to go far from home alone anymore. I can hear the owls and frogs and birdsongs. Only one ear still has roaring, not both. I can eat lots of foods when they told me I would never be able to digest more than 3 again. I don't have to carry all the meds in a baggy and have a paper with me that says all my med/hospital info anymore. The ability that God alone gave me to be a good daughter to a mother who couldn't love. The ability that God alone gave me to forgive a family that chose to hurt rather than have the courage to love.
Faith, no matter what form it is taught to me. xo Church/Saints and Haints
Congratulations and Thanks!! :o)
