  3. At first I read that one line as "being bold saves me lots of time" and I thought, wow, what a great idea. Now that I have my glasses on I realize that you said bald instead of bold, but still, it's not a bad idea. May you be bold with or without hair!

  11. Good Morning Deena,
I have never heard of this book before. You will have to let us know what it's about and how you liked it when your done with it. It does sound like a great book tho. Sounds like you are feeling pretty good this week. Your wig looks so real and you even fooled your doctor. Now that's a good thing as Martha would say. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God continue to Bless You and Yours.

    Love, Hugs, & Prayers,
    Karen H.

  13. Your conscious choices to find joy and laughter, moving forward in your life are baldly bold! The service you do with your blog that brings awareness and information to others is health making, for you and for those of us who visit it. To lay claim to inspiration and to have thoughts of beauty, to negate any of fear...well, that my dear is why we are here.
If I could suggest a book for anyone on a healing journey it would be Betty J. Eadie's "Embraced by the Light".
Am going to look for your book selection, the link about it looks great. Thanks! xo c

  18. Dear Deena, Thank you for mentioning my book on your blog! It's an honor. Peace & blessings to you!

For those interested in knowing more about what it's about: Orange Mint and Honey tells the story of how - with the help of the late Nina Simone, a teenage boyfriend and the mother she thought she'd never forgive - a late bloomer finally blossoms.

  20. Hi, you little bald headed, sweet thing that has time on her hands now that she doesn't have to MESS WITH HAIR! I think I'll go buy a wig, just to wear when I am needing to feel really pretty! I think they are a god-send. My little sister*in*law wore one from morning until night, each and every day and always looked like a million dollars...I, on the other hand, can look pretty pitiful at times because my white hair tends to stick up and is very unruly...

I want to get on the list for THE book...How sweet for you to do this!

    hugs, bj

  22. Deena,

I am so glad you are enjoying American Idol and also that you have a lovely book to read.

My joys for today. Knowing that Dr. Mammolito reassured you and made you feel better.

The lovely music on your blog.

    Meeko and his silly antics.

A nice day with lots of sunshine.

Love you, dear friend and continue to keep you, Rich and your family in my prayers.

    Hugs and blessings,
    Mary

I do hope David Cook wins but alas I like the others too. I do not find much time to read but I just finished Jan Karon newest "Back to Holly Springs" and I must say it was a disappointment compared to her earlier works. So I plan to be 'BOOKLESS" for awhile. Your wig looks so much like your real hair that no wonder your doc did not know you had on a wig. Peace be with you today and always.
