  4. So very glad you're having a better day!!

I completely forgot about DST this weekend! Thanks for the reminder!! I love the longer days, but I hate the first Sunday morning of "springing forward". lol

  5. Good Morning Deena,
Oh my, the pink buds are just beautiful. I dread this weekend having to change our clocks. LOL. I wish it would stay one way all the time. I don't like to set my clock up an hour because I lose an hour of sleep. LOL. It usually takes me a few days to get adjusted to that time as well. But I do enjoy the days being daylight longer tho. I'm so glad to know you are feeling better and was able to have a good breakfast and supper. Some of my joys today are seeing it Snow yesterday, my DH making it home last night and as always seeing that you are having a good day. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love & Hugs,
    Karen H.

  8. Good morning Deena! I love your picture! How wonderful to see the blossoms budding! Spring is coming! Today I actually walked with my girlfriends, it has been over a week since I have done so because of my cold and it felt great. It was really cold, but guess what.....I heard the birds chirping and they sounded so beautiful. I wish you and I could walk. I wish I could come over and sit in your kitchen and have coffee with you and look out your window at all the gorgeous wildlife and nature that you have there at the edge of the woods.

I have a passage of scripture for you today that I read this morning and thought of you.

    Colossians 3: 12-17

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I pray you have a blessed day today!

    Love you, Sharon

  10. So glad you are feeling better. It is cold here, even a frost on the ground, but the sun is shining. Hope the frost did not kill too many buds.

We are celebrating our middle son's 11th birthday today!! Family celebration today and with friends this Saturday. They grow up so fast.

    Enjoy your day!!

    Blessings,
    Robin (Southern Bella)

  11. So glad you're feeling a bit better. Love the faux cherry blossom branch! I may have to give this one a try! We have snow on the ground again and may get another 3-5" this weekend. Even a snow lover like me has had enough!

  12. Deena,

I'm so glad you can eat today and it seems you are in better spirits. God is good.

Love those cherry blossoms. I can't wait to see your finished project. What a wonderful idea. I went over to Constance's and saw how she did it. A great idea.

    Today I am joyful for:
    Beautiful birds in the yard.

Hubby remaining safe when his van slid off the road in the ice storm last night.

My good friend and neighbor to the east. She is a giver and has a kind heart.

The schools being closed because of the treacherous ice. Walking and driving are both hazardous. I know the grandsons are safe at home with their mother.

Being a little less tired than I have been.

For having you for my friend. ;-)

Love you. Praying for a good day.
    Blessings,
    Mary

  14. Dear Deena,
Your blog is so pretty and fresh!
Thank you for visiting me! Hope the blossoms you make will always remind you of the hope and beauty that Spring offers us.
Do you know my friend Cherie in Canada, who is also a survivor. She has three sites. If you have not met her I think you will enjoy one another very much. She has three or four sites. This is her new one.

    God Bless You!!
