Good Afternoon Deena,

I'm so glad you won Robin's Giveaway and glad you loved all the goodies she sent you. I hope you ate some of that Chocolate for me. LOL. And did you drink some of that wonderful coffee for me this morning? LOL. I am so glad that Rich is going with you to keep you company and to make you laugh. You have a wonderful hubby indeed. Hi Deena, what a fun give away!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better then a pretty apron to wear while indulging in chocolate!
I am glad you won!!!
You are such an inspiration...you are so strong and beautiful!
I have such admiration for you!
My thoughts and prayers are with you sweetpea!
Hugz, Dolly
oh how cute are you?!!!!
ReplyDeleteoxox
You sure are cute in all your new stuff. My warp sense of humor wanted to say rags but I did not wish to offend. Thanks for laughing at my feeble attempt to make you laugh during chemo. Big Sis tells me to be careful all the time as she is afraid others will not get my sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteI am happy that you got the go ahead so you can complete this and not have to put it off.
Mother was beautiful when she went bald and you will be too. You might even like it so well you may start shaving your head when the locks return. But my BGF never lost any of her long hair and it is as thick as it ever was.
Peace be with you
My dear Bodacious, You indeed look lovely in that apron. Can't wait to see it. How wonderful to have so many friends who care so much. You are blessed, my little one.
ReplyDeleteSally
Love the apron! And chocolate is always good!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Rich is going with you on Friday, Deena.
ReplyDeleteDr. Jones sounds nice.

And your kitchen is VERY pretty !
*hugs*
CHURCH talks about APRONS!!! Hey you! I wear my aprons to bed! Yes I have and do. I have collected old antique aprons for years..the advertising grocery and butcher ones too. I also make the most beautiful aprons that look ancient and I love, love them. My husband and I were going out a few years ago and I still had one of my favorite collectors on, a blue one too and he said to me "I am so glad you are going to wear your apron out." I said, "Are you kidding?" and he said, "No, I have always thought aprons are so sexy." SAY WHAT?! My husband is 8 years younger than I am and we have been married 21+ years now, he's not 50 yet....and he thinks aprons are sexy?! Ok, go figure...works for me....I have worn aprons everywhere for years.
ReplyDeleteAND, I have made aprons for some women you would know who have also liked wearing them...had one friend who loved her work aprons and also used to tell me how wonderful they looked hanging on her clothesline while her geese were trying to get them down...they were jealous of her aprons..I believe her name is Netty...ask her about about her aprons....she rides her bike around town in them and hikes them up with a clothespin! How cool is that?! So girl, you wear that gorgeous blue flowered apron cause it does look so fine on you! There is just something so comforting about wearing one to bed when you are feeling scared too...try it..you'll see.
Everybody out of the closet wearing your aprons....we know there's more of us!
Deena ! you are a sweetheart ! God is going to give you the "peace that passes all understanding" I know that !! I have a friend that has her hair growing back after chemo and it is just gorgeous !!! it is curly and so thick and pretty !
ReplyDeletehugs and prayers,
Lori

ReplyDeleteVery cute! Happy you have Rich. And while chemo is not the most fun thing, you have a great attitude and you WILL get through it!
ReplyDeleteRach
Oh Lady Di
ReplyDeleteI get your humor & Robing would too..
it so makes me laugh.
Maybe I'll be luckY???? and keep my hair..but
I was kinda looking forward to some curls ....
LOL
Deena, you look so gorgeous, apron only adds to that. Hope you are enjoying your coffee and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteYour doctor sounds so caring and wonderful.
good thoughts coming your way for you chemo treatments.
((((Deena))))
Achewwww! I gotta cold.
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to say Hi!
You wear that to bed? LOL
Congratulations on your awesome winnings! What a fun box to receive and to open up! I love that apron! It is so cute and it does look marvelous on you! Enjoy your coffee and goodies!
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for you. Oh, I hope you don't get too sick from the chemo. Bless your heart Deena.
Hugs, Sharon
All of your goodies are just fantastic! I just went shopping for a new apron too, and I can't wait for it to arrive! So I understand you wanting to wear it so much!
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you on Friday, sending hugs your way! Toodles...
I think you should wear your apron to chemo -- think of the comfort!!
ReplyDeleteAnd NO NO NO NO oh NO YOU DON'T!!! You will NOT be skeered of chemo -- I say so!!!!
Sweetie, it is nothing to be afraid of. It's not a picnic with champagne and caviar, but it is so "okay" and the nurses will be taking good care of you. Think of it as "love", think of it in as many positive ways as you can -- and go in there with your head held high and a smile on your face.
You MAY NOT allow cancer to have this toe hold -- remember doing that thing as kids "we don't stop for nobody"?!? Well you march in there and you keep telling yourself "I don't stop for cancer".
Make it a "good" day with all the things you love...your doctor is right -- you're going to do this. I know it!!
You look fabulous darling!
ReplyDeletePriscilla
Just a little note to let you know that some of us have traveled this path before you and that it is safe. When all is said and done you will look back on it as another challenge in life.Gather strength from wherever you will and set forth.
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you.
I think the outfit is charming!!!!
