THANK YOU & Pray for Rich , my family & me tomorrow


I love this award..a burning pink candle
bestowed this on me. What perfect timing for me .
(She just lost her lil furry baby too..OH I know the hurt of that loss.)

I began my Dexamethasone today, a booster for
me during chemo,


ordered a cool wig today, had lunch with
my oldest daughter and came home to REST.
Last evening my youngest daughter , Mercedes called to 
see if I'd go to 


Sweeney Todd with her. .
I  was out of here and at the movie with 30 minutes.
It was great to spend time with her, hug her and just sit next to her.
Oh the movie..I liked it  a Bloody Murder Musical..but a cautionary
tale.
Tomorrow will be a long day for Rich & me.  Be at the Oncology Center at 9:30 AM
..blood tests for me, meet with the oncologist, discuss the Pet/CT scan
then 5.5 hours of chemo & Herceptin IVs.


I'll let you know the outcome as soon as I can.
  I expect the best news
but ..I'm prepared for anything..God is holding me in His palm.

    "CONGRATULATION'S" on some more well deserved Awards. I really love the Candle Award. It is so beautiful. I love Candles myself. I have all kinds of candles. I am glad you got out and enjoyed a move with your daugher, Mercedes. I love her name, such a beautiful name. I love the wig. You will look gorgeous in it.     Love that wig you have orderd. It sure looks like it will erally suit you.
    How wonderful to have spent the day with your daughters - lunch then a movie - so special.

    My prayers will be with you and Rich tomorrow. I am asking God to send His angels to envelope you in their wings and keep you comfortable throughout this procedure.

    I'm glad you found the award. I had to go and get the boys from school today and took them for a chocolate milk at the local coffee shop. I had tea and we talked about what is going on in their lives. A nice time was had by one and all. ;-)

    love the wig you chose...
    I'll be praying for you and Rich as you meet with the doctors to find the result of your pet/ct scan.
    and I will remember your children as they wait for the outcome of your pet/ct scan. I know this has to be very hard on them too...

    I truly like that WIG!!! Nice and it will look great. I have been praying for you and husband already today and will continue to do so tonight and tomorrow I pray PEACE for all of you.....get a good nights rest.
    By the way....a "Crumpet" is bit different than a English Muffin although I like them BOTH :~).....the crumpet is more like a pancake with holes. HA!

    That is a cool wig. I wish I could get my hair to look that perfect.

    They told us when we took mom in,
    "You will lose your hair, period."

    The good news is that you won't have to shave either. So, that's a plus.

    But, after it starts to come out, it might be easier on you if you just buzz it. Be sure and get some caps because you'll really get cold. It looks like you have a thick bunch of hair so you'll notice the temp difference right away.

    You will get through this and your life will be much richer on the other side.

    Dearest Deena, My heart and prayers are with you on your first day of chemo. Mine is ever still so fresh. My girlfriend, Rita, and I at lunch today talked of how grateful we are because of chemo. She has become my best friend. I would have never met her had we not crossed paths there. So embrace all that is before you. New doors will open up. It really is an amazing time and with your spirit of love and care, you will be blessed, I just know it...and I know others will be too.

    My husband came with me the first day too. It does help. Once you do it, it does become a piece of cake. It becomes the norm. You will almost look forward to it, as you miss your friends and can't wait to see them. Us gals would talk up a storm until the premeds set in, then we all fell asleep.

    Love to you and I'll be praying for you girl. I'm with you in spirit and understanding.
