Hi Deena, I have funded you through another blog and I am glad I did. That is so beautiful and true. Thank you for sharing it. Wish you a great week! Suzy
Hi deena, I have found your blog through another blog & wanted to send you a big hug. The pictures & music are beautifull and oh how truthfull, it brought tears to my eyes. X dominique
Deena, please count me among the many who are praying for you. May you be assured of God's presence through each day of this journey. I came here by way of Susan of A Place Called Home.
Thank you for sharing, it was beautiful. Be strong...God also gave you the will to fight and not give up. He IS always there. I'll be praying for you and Rich and your family...loved all your pictures of them. xoxo Jenn
Love your beautiful photos you are sharing of Your Family, How Proud You must be of them!
Just a thought, I was checking out the lymphedemia (not sure if I spelled that correctly) I have heard that a rebounder (mini trampoline) is great for working your lymph system.... just the very gentle bounce up & down, not any exercise just the bounce, maybe you could ask your Dr. if this could be a possibility for you, thought it may help~
I've just spent the evening reading your entire blog. I hope that's okay?
I find you to be inspiring and funny and warm and someone I'd love to share a cuppa coffee with!
I'm a breast cancer survivor myself...diagnosed at 47. (I'm 50 now)- I nodded my head while reading your experiences. "yeah, I remember that...oh yeah, I felt just like that.." Mostly, I find you facing your days with honesty and love and grace.
Fight the good fight and be thankful for each new day!
Deena, I just got in from Tahoe, took my kids snowboarding, so I've been out of touch.
I'm in bed catching up on my blog reading and just read your past couple of posts,
My heart is heavy with your news, Deena. But your words fill me with pride (Hey, I know that incredible woman who has what it takes to fight this thing!). And your friends' words fill me with happiness. Love is what we're here for, and you have an abundance of it.
I'm starting a new job next Monday, Deena, but I have this week off. I'd love to call if you feel up to it. Just let me know.
Hi Deena I saw your story in Zine. I just want to add my support to all the others who love you and know you. We have not met and I doubt ever will with all these miles between us. Prayers are universal and carried by angels to our wonderful father in heaven who takes note and knowing even when a sparrow falls or a hair falls from your head he knows your fight right now. Use his name for added power just as we use one anothers to call attention use his name Psalms 83:18. I will use my knowledge of our god and his name to pray for strength for you and your family to fight this disease..It is not from god or of god it belongs to the wicked one but mighty is our father and he will restore all in need to a perfect body Soon! Please I hope and pray for a recovery. Michelle
That was beautiful. I wish I had something uplifting to say to you. I'm adding my favorite bible verse. It's helped me along the way, may you find comfort in it too...“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and don't lean on your own understanding. In all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your way. Proverbs 3:5, 6”
Deena...that is absolutely beautiful! I am sitting here with you in my thoughts & prayers... wishing there was something I could do for you! Please know I am here...though many miles away, I am here! Priscilla
