(((((Deena))))) I want to come to where you are and wrap you in my arms. I am so glad that you have entered both my giveaways (so no, you are not losing it -- I am doing 2!).
Baby girl, I am with you so much you know that.
This is a journey like nothing else on this earth. And I hope you have cried and railed and slammed your fists. And I hope you have asked God "why me" more than once. With anger. He won't mind. He expects it actually. And then you know that he is with us as we walk this road...and the road becomes a little like Oz after while. But for now -- for you -- feel the grief (you are in early stages) and feel the remorse and the frustration of chemo being postponed yet again..and get thyself well and healthy and on the road. Worry about NO ONE else -- worry about only Deena. Husbands and children? They can take care of themselves. Did I mention already? They are "adults". Yep. They are. And if they can't take care of themselves by now? Oh well. This is your show.
So sleep well my friend, let angels send you dreams on clouds. Tomorrow is another day. Do you know how many people love you and have you in their prayers?! Yes of course you do -- and you say "oh that's wonderful" -- because it is.
Deena, have a really good night resting. You truly deserve this for yourself. I have asked God to wrap you in His loving arms and keep you safe.
You recieved one of the best King Cakes, Louisiana has to offer and glad you liked it. Can you believe I haven't eaten one piece yet---too much sugar, but oh it looks soooo good. Hugs, Pat
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. Rest good tonight my friend...
I pray that you are able to sleep peacefully and get some much needed rest, all the while feeling enveloped in God's tending loving care. Much love to you, sweet Deena. We're with you.......
...And if tonight my soul may find her peace in sleep, and sink in good oblivion, and in the morning wake like a new-opened flower then I have been dipped again in God, and new-created. ~D.H. Lawrence
God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus He came to love, heal, and forgive He lived and died to buy my pardon An empty grave is there to prove my Saviour lives.
Because He lives I can face tomorrow Because He lives all fear is gone Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living just because He lives.
How sweet to hold a new born baby And feel the pride, a joy he gives But greater still the calm assurance This child can face uncertain days because He lives.
Because He lives I can face tomorrow Because He lives all fear is gone Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living just because He lives.
And then one day I'll cross the river I'll fight life's final war with pain And then as death gives way to vict'ry I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives.
Because He lives I can face tomorrow Because He lives all fear is gone Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living just because He lives
Sweet Deena... ere is a little poem I had written awhile ago: Just a reminder of His Tender Care.... His Tender Care by: Robin Leuschen
I closed my eyes one night to dream and sleep would come to me 'twould seem, but in it's stead came thoughts of woe, and dread for what, I did not know?
Then in my worried mind shone clear, the promises of hope so dear, promises spoken by the One, that holds the night, and next day's sun.
In His hand He holds us always, and watches us through nights and days, His love unbounding, his care so true, holding us tender, in all we do.
And in this great unfailing love, He sends His angels from above, to watch and lift us , if we should fall, and guide away from dangers, all.
I closed my eyes once more to dream, and peace and comfort it did seem, took hold, and I did find my sleep, amongst promises of care and keep.
Checking in for my morning shift. Fresh donuts for the family. I wasn't sure where to put the dishes so if you can't find something, just holler--I've got a few more buckets needing hauling up the hill. I'll be back to check in again later. Stay warm and get your rest. :-)
Deena.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you.
Take care.
