They were all IV's except the Neulasta shot.
I had one teeny reaction to the Taxotere, so my nurse
stopped it ..called Dr. Prager , then start the prescribed Benedryl
drip, then proceeded with the Taxotere after that
was done!! The benedryl immediately helped the pressure
at the base of my skull and neck.
Praise God for this LIFE SAVING CHEMO day!!
I came home to a sweet Dancing Queen Valentine Box
I won from Miss Rhea
a lovely Penny Rug and stitchery for Henny Penny Prims
& some hand sanitizing products made for chemo patients from
a friend of Amy of Four Sisters Cottage..who works for Avant, the
company who invented the product.
What great timing..I was so delighted!
I'll post pics later..
OH I FORGOT..our possum "Mr Sanders" was up the crab tree eating
the fruit..I got pics of him too. This was God's gift to me today also!!
thank you all for your support..you can never know how much
it means to me

ReplyDeleteDear Deena, have been thinking of you most of this day. It is good to see your photo and to learn you are home. It is amazing how the good Lord puts people together ... He knits our hearts together because we belong to Him and thus, to one another. You are my sister in Christ and I pray His best for you. May He give you strength, peace, comfort and well-being, in spite of chemotherapy. May this treatment defeat each cancer cell in such a way that God will be glorified and honored. May you have time to rest, sleep and dream peaceful dreams. May time with your family be more than you could wish for.
ReplyDeleteRest well my new friend.

Just take care of yourself and take it easy. Take care my friend and have a great evening/weekend. May God continue to Bless You and Yours.

Wow, honey, you started the treatment. I started Feb. 6th last year...how wild we are almost on the same calender. My heart tremors at all you have to go through, it does, cuz I was there, but ya know girl, ya get through it. God's grace and the love of others carries us. You will and are being carried, and in a sense, enjoy the ride. It really is a special time. To some that might sound wild, but it is. There are always treasures to be found in everything.
ReplyDeleteHugging you my friend and holding you close in prayer.
love you,
joanna
I am so glad to see you are home and that the chemo went as well as possible. God Bless and Keep you,
