ReplyDeleteDeena,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got a good night's sleep without meds. That's terrific. You certainly deserve that courage award and all the others as well.
Hoping that headache doesn't linger. Take care of yourself and be sure not to overdo.
My prayers for you and your family continue soaring to heaven.
Love and blessings,
Mary
Sounds like the schedule is set for "getting well"! It'll be so great to hear the cancer is G.O.N.E. Take today, wrap up in a blanket and let people wait on you like a queen. REST, REST, REST. Let that headache go away. Even if you don't feel tired, do it. Those are orders from the "paupers" of the pink kingdom.
ReplyDeleteSleep is so good. I'm glad to hear you got some. Rest and relax, Deena. Let the world come to you.
ReplyDeleteDeena, I've called in reinforcements, an international team, each offering thoughts and prayers. I think we have six continents covered, so if you feel a little extra sunshine today, well, there is more from where that came. The crunching and folding community is one of the most loyal and faithful group of loving individuals I've ever met. And they are with you too, with you now.
ReplyDeleteOh, and morning. Coffee and cinnamon rolls this morning. Still hot, on both accounts. I'll throw a blanket in the dryer to warm and be on my way in just a bit. Made you smile didn't I? :-D
You deserve every award! Have a restful weekend dear friend.
ReplyDeleteMost sincerely,
Joni
Oh, so thankful for the good nights sleep. I think that is a great sign!
ReplyDeletehugs, bj
You are such an inspiration - so glad you had some good sleep, Deena!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Deena! Good to learn you're up and about today. Also good to learn you were able to sleep. I know the importance of that.
ReplyDeleteYour attitude and courage are an inspiration to each of us. That helps so much when you're facing trials, doesn't it?
Much love to you my new friend.
Hello Deena, you don't know me, but I am stitcher and a Christian that maintains a blog here in cyberville. I found your blog from another and, while I don't know what you're battling, in the eternal scheme, we are sisters. You have my best hopes and prayers and many, many good thoughts being sent your way! May the chemo go well without too much icky stuff.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Julie
Correct, I did read the rest of your sidebar and now know that part of your story and how to more specifically pray. May you find unexpected blessings on this difficult road.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Hi Deena BJ over at Sweeet Nothings has a little note on her blog hat says pray for Deena. SO I just wanted to let you know I'll be praying for you. YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT AND BE FINE. I have always found Psalm 103 to be a comfort whenever healing is needed. Verse 4 says" who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" The rest of it is great too. I'll be reading your blog with interest to see how you're doing. Rhondi XO
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Deena,
ReplyDelete"PRAISE GOD" for a good night's rest with only one interuption. I do hope the sickness you had wasn't real bad for you. Hopefully your headache won't last too long. "CONGRATULATION'S" on all of the very well deserved Awards especially the "Courage Award". You are one Courageous Woman. I don't know if I could be as strong as you if I was going thru this. Take care my friend and have a great day/weekend. May God continue to Bless You and Yours.

Dearest Deena:
ReplyDeleteLast week at church, we sang a song and immediately I thought of you. After reading your last few posts, I had to share it with you.
You Never Let Go by Matt Redman
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
Your perfect love is casting out fear,
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life, I won't turn back, I know you are near.
And I will fear no evil, For my God is with me, And if God is with me, Whom then shall I fear? Whom then shall I fear?
Oh no, You never let go, Through the calm and through the storm,
Oh no, You never let go, in every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go, Lord You never let go of me
And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on, A glorius light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles, but until that day comes, We'll live to know You here on earth
Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on, And there will be an end to these troubles, But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You
I hope this comforts you in some way . . . as He will NEVER let go.
Praying each day for you,
In Him,
Jim's Patty
Ditto Jim's patty message!

Hi Deena. Like how the award looks on your site - congratulations on actually placing the thing here. Sheesh! We have had problems with our computers and my hubby is giving me the eye - he blaims me you know. Sleep, blessed sleep. I am so glad you got to sleep. You seem to count each blessing. Love you for that! Hope you have a good weekend. You and your hubby are remembered in my prayers. Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI left you something on my blog.
ReplyDeleteDeena, I am thankful that you are doing as well as you are after your treatment. It's good that you were able to get some sleep last night, too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your awards and for wanting to pass them on to all who visit you regularly, but for me, I don't feel like I should take them. You are going through so much right now, and these awards were specifically for you, Deena. Thanks anyway. You are a sweetie.
Back flip and a double shake, rattle and roll in sheer happiness that you're day has been relatively good and that you got a full 7 hours of rest. Take care, holler if you need anything at all, and I'll check in on you a little later. Love and hugs, x
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that things are happening now. You are so very brave and I admire your spirit!!!

Oh Deena, I'm loving the purse....good job hubby!! I can't believe you live in Chillicothe. I was born and raised in Bloomington, IL. My parents still live there and my hubby's parents live in Lincoln, IL. I get to Illinois once in awhile, in fact my hubby calls on Caterpillar, maybe sometime we can meet and have lunch. That would be so much fun!!
