I found this sweetie last night at dusk.
There are more today . Spring is here.
Hubby took two days off, we've been busy.
We went to WildLife Prairie State Park
and to Starved Rock State Park.
Seeing the animals native to our area at Wildlife Prairie Park.
We hiked and saw the floods at Starved Rock.. ..our river
is at one of the highest levels it's ever been.
I'm doing good..
Please pray
for Pat, Carol, Cheryl, Michelle, Sandra, Dee, Cora & others who
are hurting and ill.

My tulip greens are about 4 inches tall today. I keep watching them and waiting for that day they show their lovely color.
ReplyDeleteI might have to add daffodils in the fall for some earlier blooms.
Glad to hear you are feeling well enough to enjoy some hiking.
Blessings,
Becky
My crocus are up but my daffodils will take a while. They are late bloomers. Yours must be on the South side of the house. Walking? Wow. Good for you. See you Thurs.

Gosh Deena...we have had sleet, hail and snow the past several days...yucky and damp. I don't see anything blooming just yet except in the grocery stores. I bought myself a few Primrose so I would have something Springish to look at.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing GOOD.
Hugs,
robin
Isn't it amazing how the fresh air and the flowers blooming can make you feel rejuvenated. I am so glad hubby has taken a couple days to be with you, how sweet! Angie

Good Morning Deena,
ReplyDelete"PRAISE GOD" you felt good enought to go out and go to those parks and do some hiking. I have a few of the Easter Lillies coming up in my yard and they are so pretty. Yellow is just a beautitul color. I'm ready for Spring too after the Snows and Ie storms we have had this year. It's time for Mother Nature to go into hibernation until next winter. LOl. Take care my friend and ahve awonderful Wednesday. May GOD continue to Bless you and yours.
Love,
Karen H.
Deena,
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the vintage lunch pail behind the flower? I have been looking for one. I absolutely love daffodils and wait impatiently for mine to open their pretty faces out my window.
Deena, glad hubby took a few days to be with you. Al took an entire week off because of the bad nicotine withdrawals---guess I deserve that part. I have my Confederate Jessmin blooming and the rest is still dormant. Love and Hugs, Pat
ReplyDeleteDEAR DEENA
ReplyDeleteI AM SO VERY HAPPY YOU COULD TAKE A HIKE......IT IS A MAJOR MIRACLE WHEN YOU THINK HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME.
AMY, MY DAUGHTER WENT BACK FOR HER PET SCAN AND HER CANCER IS BACK IN HER NECK AND EARLOBE....SHE DIDN'T HAVE BREAST CANCER BUT IN JUNE OF 2008 THEY ONLY GAVE HER TWO MONTHS TO LIVE. I CHOSE TO BELIEVE GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY SO, NOT THE DOCTORS.
BLESSINGS DEAR LADY

I'm so very glad you're doing well--I think of you all the time, Deena! I don't know if you've seen this blog, but Renee of "Circling My Head" was the one who won my giveaway today--her profile says she has Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer--maybe you'd like to visit her blog and offer some encouraging words--I can't think of a sweeter lady than you to send her a note. Her blog address is: http://www.circlingmyhead.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you Deena, Love, Jann
Middle Tn is enjoying a taste of Spring. I have been really busy with company etc and have not dropped by for awhile. Sounds like you are doing great which is a blessing. I too like Danny Gokey and hated it when Adam Lambert slaughter Johnny Cash's song. I think Adam is a strung out looking Elvis. Lil Rounds is my favorite female singer. I also like Matt even though he is too much like Timberlake at times.
ReplyDeletePeace
Hi Deena, Just checking to see how you are doing. You must be doing great --since you are out hiking... Praise be to God!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my best friends has Breast Cancer and it has come back recently. It's in her bones in several places--and maybe her lungs/liver. Please pray for her. She lives near Atlanta.
Hope you continue to stay heatlhy.
Hugs,
Betsy
So glad to see you getting out and about. My snowdrop bulbs are pressing up and I am so excited to see them. Come on Spring! Drats on the weatherman for mentioning snow this week as a possibility even....
ReplyDeleteMaya the good Lord bless & touch you with His healing powers. Know that I shall pray for you. Enjoy those wonderful warm welcoming days & the sweet scent of spring. Bless you. TTFN ~ Marydon
ReplyDeletePS I just started my blog last week. Pop over for a visit.
