Oh my gosh Deena, I hope everyone is ok. Just before I was born, we had a majpr tornado in our township, and my parents home which was made of cinder blocks, fell apart. My mom, dad and sisters were under a mattress, that's what saved them. The town was destroyed. I never want to see one in my life.
Very scary, I am glad you are okay....I was thinking about you. How are you? Is everything okay? My prayers always include you sweetie!!!! Hugs, Margaret B
I'm thankful that your home wasn't hit nor your family's. Stay safe and be well, Deena. Love you, Diane P. S. Thanks so much for the birthday greetings on fcbk.
Hope & Pray that You, your family are all safe, the Tornado Sirens were going off here, We had Flooding, but the closets Tornado was about 40 miles away....
Deena, I'm glad you and your family are safe and sound. Tornadoes are so scary, especially since they aren't preventable!
There was a major one about 20 miles from us 2:17 AM Sunday. Warning sirens were sounded in our town, but hubby and I didn't hear a thing as we were sound asleep. No damage here, thankfully.
Deena,I am so glad you were all spared. I hate tornadoes and we were under a flash flood watch, so I came back to Crowley. Funnel clouds were spotted about 25 miles from me and that was close enough for me to leave. I hope Mary is okay. She hasn't posted, so will have to check her out through email. Many Blessings, Pat
Tornados are surreal when the path of destuction is shown. TN has had our share but the lastest devastation was from our historical flood. Glad to hear you were spared but feel for those who were not so fortunate. Peace
Dear Deena, Got your sweet note, thank you. I am only on facebook about once a year, really don't do it or any of the other social networking sites. I'm not even blogging that much anymore... But I wanted to come say hello, and say how glad I am that you are safe and well:)
Hi Deena, hope there were no deaths or serious injuries from that tornado - they are so unpredictable, happen so fast and the devastation is often horrendous.
Love your Celtic music - has me tapping my toes!
I've been home 2 weeks since the awesome African safari trip and am posting lots of animal photos with stories of the amazing time I had - hope you will stop by. Lots of beautiful birds in southern African countries!
Hope all is going well dear - thinking of you. Hugs - Mary
