Tis Friday, Please send me BIG prayers


Rich and I are up early.  I have blood tests, visit with my oncologist to get my Echo and Pet/CT scan. I'm asking for BIG prayers today . I want the scan to show NO cancer.  
I'll be gone most of the day as I have cancer meds by IV today too.

My next brain MRI is the end of January.  I'm hoping it's the end of my cancer 
journey too.

I've gotten most of the Christmas decor out.  I just do a bit each day. I'm still feeling
nauseous most of the time .  Good news ..I sleep without sleep aids now
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JOYS

warm coffee on a COLD morning (5 degrees)
friends who take you to appts at the crack of dawn (thanks Sally!!)
a good cheeseburger
my BFF, Marcia has a new grand daughter
SWEET surprises in the mail
hats on a cold bald head
Christmas music

& yours??

    I will be praying big prayers for you Deena.

    I love your joy lists. My simple joys......my little cozy lights, our Christmas decorations, a girlfriend to take my morning walks with, my healthy family, high school basketball games (we went to both our younger son's games last night).

    I'm thankful for blogging because I have met wonderful people like you.

    I pray there is not a trace of cancer!

    I'm also praying for you Deena. What a Christmas gift that would be...to be entirely free from cancer. Big hugs to you!

    My joy list would be that I finally have the tree up and decorated. With four kids helping me, it can be quite a stressful event. :)

    I'll be praying for you all day dear friend. I hope everything is clear. Your joys are inspiring and real...such simple sweet things that are so important but tend to be taken for granted and overlooked. Here's a little prayer my pastor wrote that I say every morning, it helps me keep it real.

    Dear God, may I never take your provisions for granted. Thank you for a warm home, food, clothing, meaningful work, health, and family and friends to share life. Thank you for my daily bread. And remind me to thank you again tomorrow. In Jesus Name, Amen.

    Dear Deena, the prayers that go up for you from TX are BIG and CONSTANT! But you already knew that, didn't you?

    I'm asking my PRH group (a dozen or so terrific ladies) to join us for your Christmas party on Dec. 15th if that is okay ~ it will be a triple celebration for me that day ~ sharing my love of Christmas with YOU & others, a way to celebrate the start of my new Christmas blog and a fun way to celebrate my birthday which is also Dec. 15th!!     You have them my friend! Best of luck today too! :)

    My joy is taking a nap with my baby. I lay with her until she falls asleep and sometimes I slip away too. There is nothing so cozy and comforting as that little heart beating, lungs going in and out, and knowing she's comforted by you being there too. I've had some of the deepest and sweetests sleeps with my little Madeline. :)

    Hey lady! Big prayers and thoughts with you today for sure! Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? I saw a church sign that read "Thanksgiving is thanksliving" I liked that. Oh, and have you heard Harry Connick's new Christmas album yet? I have yet to check it out, but I will this weekend for sure! (and a little eggnog ice cream, yum!)
