Oh Deena. I've commented so many times, leaving my joys, mostly about my Madeline, enjoying her as a baby. Now she has 4 swollen lymph nodes and they are testing her for lymphoma. The waiting to find out is driving me crazy. You seem to have a direct line...would you pray for her please? She has another appointment on Monday.
ReplyDeleteThank you and I'm glad you are feeling better.
Mere

Deena, what great news. Your hair was such a beautiful color. My sister n law when diagnosed at 37 - she is now 43, decided she would get a wig. We were at a restaurant and she was so intimidated about wearing it, but looked great. The waitress ask if she would mind giving her the stylist name that cut her hair style. She never felt bad in the wig again! It it makes you feel better go for it! Good Luck - you are such an inspiration.

ReplyDeleteYou were a beautiful lady "Before" and you are just as beautiful now. You look really healthy. You have one of those beatific faces and a nicely shaped-head that does not need hair to look good - like Sinead, to name one. Now, me - not so much!

Annette
Deena, as I compare your pictures, you look much the same. Oh, your face is a bit thinner and of course, there's the hair issue but what strikes me most is the feeling of strength, wisdom and yes, a bit of sadness, in your eyes.
ReplyDeleteYou've been through so much that might have crushed lesser people and yet, here you are, stronger than ever, very beautiful and still showing us the joys in your life. It may not seem like it at this time, but God has indeed blessed you.....or perhaps it is 'us' who have been blessed by having you in our lives.
Either way, I wish for God to continue to hold you in the palm of His hand and to give you joy, peace and health.
With love.....JoJo
Dearest Deena,
