To celebrate the miracles I found, the friends whom God sent to me

This is one of the best presents EVER
My friend sent them to me.. 3 nests (the one with the big
eggs is a Hummingbird nest) NO nests or eggs were
taken from the trees. Mother Nature deposited them
on the ground.
The lilacs bloomed, the scent is heady and now they
are on the way out. WAAH see ya next year dear
lilacs.

Adam Lambert. With Danny gone, I voted for Chris

I feel good, get tired but I am able to garden.
My tiredness is from the pain in my body
I think. I have pain constantly, but I just keep
going. My surgery hurts, my ribs and spine
and my right arm. Just battle scars ..smiles

O, Denna girl, How thankful I am that you are doing this good. It has been such a long, hard road for you and you held your head up high and battled it like a real PINK WARRIOR. I am very proud of you and I nearly cried when I read that you were working in your garden. God is so good that I cry when I think about it.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time in 2 years, I am able to work in my garden, too. I thank HIM for every single minute of it, too. I am walking a mile a day, thanking HIM with every single step I am able to make. GOD IS GOOD, LIFE IS AWESOME AND I LOVE IT ALL....

ReplyDeleteAs a Suvivor myself, I know that prayers will help you through...I am a 5 yr suvivor now, but now having some heart valve problems and will have surgery soon..
I loved the nest and eggs, so very pretty and the flowers too..Florida is having a monsoon right now after having no rain for couple of months, we are now getting it all at one time this week...

Hey Beautiful. I am still jealous of your lilacs. I planted two more last year and have a while to wait for htem to grow up. But ahhh, the one I have...that scent is glorius and like you I hate to see it go.

What is it about eggs and nests, they are so neat, I love them too! Maybe because it humbles us to think of creation and how God has designed each and everyone of us...

Just stopped by to say hello, haven't talked to you in a while - been working outside in my flower gardens every chance I get between the rains. It seems like my lists just keep getting longer. I have been following your journey with cancer through your blog. I am so happy that you are able to garden and your hair looks wonderful. My mother is a lung cancer survivor but she never got her hair back. The doctors told us she only had 12-14 months to live with chemo and radiation treatments. She took them and has been cancer free for the past 7 years. We are very thankful they were wrong. Congratulations on your 400th Post and I can't wait to help celebrate your 1000th.

I love birds nests! I have a special one in a jar, a tiny one made of horses hair. My sweet boys found it outside and gave it to me, I will keep it forever.

ReplyDeleteI feel like Mother Earth when I can garden. My back surgery hasn't let me do much this year but my lilacs were wonderful and never last long enough.
You have such a gracious strength within you. When my pain gets to be too bad to go outside I come to your blog to feel nurished.

ReplyDeleteI hate cancer too.. I have a pin that says "Cancer Sucks!". Too many people have been lost to breast cancer alone in the last few years. Sure wish that all cancers could be eradicated by some BIG miracle, don't you?

the craziness of life, work and just trying to get by always seems to get in the way of keeping up with friends. Reading your blog always reminds me of the frailty of life and how we should appreciate all that we have and those in our lives.
