I've been on the bone marrow donor list for years just hoping that I would be called to help someone in need. You can't be on it past age 61 so I have only about six months more to go. I wish everyone would see it in their hearts to sign up. It's easy and so rewarding. My son signed up when he joined the Navy. He got the call and ended up donating. The first time he had a horrible reaction and ended up in the hospital with complications and extreme pain for two weeks. Besides all that, his donation didn't "take". They called and asked if he would donate again and he didn't hesitate to say yes. The man was saved. My son is my hero!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep Hunter in my prayers.
oh that is so sad. i'll keep Hunter in my thoughts and prayers

Deena, it's just me, Francie M, touching base with you. I am so thrilled to hear about your planned trip to Ireland. I've been there twice. You will love it, and the people are so kind. Enjoy your trip. Safe journey to you and your wonderful husband.
