  27. Our lawn will be mowed the second time already. Everything is lush and bright greens. Our lilac bush is in bloom. Air conditioning has been on. Everyone is nesting in every bird house available. My favorite every year is the robin that makes a nest outside our bedroom window under the eve on the curve of the rain gutter. Every year I am amazed through some of the worst spring winds and storms. I myself wake in the night afraid of the strong lightning and rains, then I peek to see if she is alright and there she is snuggled in and just "being a mother" not even minding all the thunder. I have gotten a lot of strength from the robins who choose our home as their own. I always save their nests when the season has passed. Lots to learn from nature as you already know.
    Thanks for sharing your beauty.

  30. We just bought the exact same fountain Deena - and thank goodness it's working well. It replaces a similar one which died - and I do love to hear the water trickling.

Great bird pics - and you the cutest 'bird' of all, but watch out for those Swiffers - I tripped over mine and almost broke my neck!!

Glad you and Rich are enjoying life in the singing woods - my love and prayers go out to you as each day brings you closer to better health.
