I received an ecard today..and just giggled at how much it looked like me..What do you think..my smile is just as big too..
Gonna work on The Primitive Gathering.com today..and housework.. making crock pot BBQ chicken & a pumpkin pie too.. Nicole and the boys are going to start their move..but she'll be taking me to all my doctor's appointment..Radiation.
Friday the 17th..I have radiation at 8AM , a left breast mammogram at the Komen Center @ 8:30 AM and cancer meds ( Herceptin & Zometa) at 8:30AM..I can do it all
You both make me smile. Ok when are you gonna shave that head? I felt so much better after I shaved mine. And my head turned out to be kinda cute. Big Hugs and have a blessed day..Deb

It was a cute little critter but you realize that you are much cuter, you know. Your attitude is such a blessing to me! Your house is fixing to be awfully quiet but I am so glad that Nicole will continue taking you to your treatments. Hope you get lots of work done today since it sounds like you are feeling pretty perky!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. And yes, you can do it all. I stopped by to tell you that I got my mammo today after putting it off for over five years since my last mammo.
ReplyDeleteReason I did it, finally, is that I've come to see that even if cancer is discovered, I'll be ok, I'll still be myself, and perhaps will come to be even better than before. Thank you for showing me that.
Love you.
Lord, thank you for Deena's life, she is such a blessing! Give her strength for today and give her joy! Send friends to brighten her day as she brightens ours. Prepare her way Lord, go before her and stay with her, never leave her. In Jesus precious name, amen.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this lovely one has your eyes for sure!! Love the sense of humour... ♥
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely how you find joy in everything! Like so many others, I think you are much cuter than the critter (sure makes you smile though.) :)

The ability to laugh at one's self.
ReplyDeleteThe ability to see the humor in life's circumstances that scare the heck out of us. To surrender the ego to God's will in all things, as you have learned to do.
What a wonder. What depth. Zen monks can meditate lifetimes and never get to where you are...in your mind and in your spirit. You're flying now girl.
Soaring way above and beyond. Thanks for sharing your spirit...and for loving housework too, I'm right there on that with you. Homemakers unite!

Hi Deena,
ReplyDeleteYears ago when i started my apprenticeship in hairdressing we were told only faces with a good bone structure can take short hair, you look real pretty with your short hair and you don't need all that fluff to hide behind anyways,i see you more with a sparkling tiara (your crowning glory) ;) and you could make one right ?
Love Kristina XxX
LOL What a wonderful sense of humor my dear. That last photo of you and it do look alot alike.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling up to all your task. Hope your weekend is filled with things you love. Peace
Well I didn't think it could ever happen............but I am speechless.
ReplyDeleteThe critter looks a little like dolls I used to make in the 70's. And your hair returned before and it will again. Maybe pink this time. Thank you girl for sending peace and acceptance to us all. Wish we could all be like you when we grow up! Love ya dearly, Mollye
You look so cute. I walked today in the Arkansas Komen Race for the Cure. There were approximately
ReplyDelete46,000 women walking. It was awe inspiring and so emotional. Keep the faith and I will be praying for you.

You exemplify everything we are all fighting to reach, and even though we haven't met earlier I can tell that I would be proud to call you friend. I truly believe in my heart that one day we will find a cure for all types of cancer.
