  1. Deena,

Do you remember how to make those paper crowns out of construction paper? How about a diamond tiara? (That isn't a paper crown, but would give you the look of a princess.)

Love you, my friend. I am posting prayer requests today. You are included. ;-)

    Love and blessings,
    Mary

I love your banner. So appropriate for Valentine's.

I hope you are feeling better.

  3. i'm so sorry to hear about your friend's husband. my prayers are with her and her family.

last year, in february, i had my mastectomy on my birthday. when i came to after surgery my sweet friend was there with a gorgeous glittery birthday crown for me. i still wear it all the time. but it was purchased locally in santa ana, california at Paris to the Moon. the girl who made it also published a book, Crowns and Tiaras, which came out this last year. i couldn't find a web site for the store. they really do have the prettiest crowns i have seen. you could call them and see about them...(949)642-0942 i did find a very cool paper cone hat (it is fun!) here: http://tinyurl.com/2246ef and some nice paper crowns here: kimmiequeen.etsy.com they aren't as glittery and fabulous as the ones at Paris to the Moon but they are very nice. i hope you find just the perfect crown!

  4. okay i couldn't stand it. i called paris to the moon and talked to the girl who wrote the crown book. she said they are working on the Paris to the Moon website but it's not up yet. however, they do have some F&G crowns (which is what my crown is) at this site. http://tinyurl.com/yqello i don't think they have pictures of all the different ones but you can surely get a pretty crown here. they are very glittery and have a lovely ribbon to tie the crown on. yay!

  9. (Said as Scarlet O'Hara's maid would in Gone With the Wind) "Why Miss Deena, now yuz know that crown be on your head! I see it there myself! Why you pretendin that it ain't there when yuz had it all along! Honestly Miss Deena, don't ya just beat all, the way you carry on so. That crown been there since you were a babe and me bein the one who was gettin up nights with you, I knows. 10. Spoken with heart and soul by Church :)

You're a princess in a category all your own, there, Miss D! The crown would just be more icing on an already perfectly luscious cake.

  11. Deena, just so you know, I've got some friends helping with the buckets. In fact, we've formed a brigade that will happily labor through the night with song and prayer to fortify our souls against the dark, our mind set on the crest of the hill, where without fail, a new day shall arise and with hands held together and held high, we will rejoice in the light. Sweet dreams when you get that far.

  13. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha to the anonymous comment sounding like the maid in Gone with the Wind. That was precious.

Does this mean you are going to make a crown? I would love to see your creation! I have a couple of tiaras that I purchased at garage sales. I always thought I was kind of weird for wanting them and not earning them the old fashioned way (i.e., being homecoming queen).

In my book you do deserve a crown and you are a princess!

    Love Sharon

...lol...Now THAT was priceless! And the best part about it is - it's TRUE! Miss Deena your crown is sitting right on top of your head! It's been there all along... Thru all the darkness, sadness, grief it's there. You just haven't been able to see it but it's shining, glittering, glowing for all the world to see... We see it.

There hasn't been a day go by yet that I don't visit here and notice your crown...sure some days it may be slightly askew, or certain days maybe it could use a lil' shining up but it's always there... Sure you can buy a glittery, diamond encrusted crown from a store but it can't replace the one you're already sportin' - 'cause that one's God given! ;o)

...Get yourself some rest. Sending prayers your way today...

    ...Blessings... :o)
