Back from the Doctors

I'm doing good, almost all healed up.
I got THREE hugs
from  Dr. Jones , then he asked me about
chemo treatments & radiation

After he left , I started crying..cuz I'm so
emotional I HATE CANCER!!!.ended up with a nose bleed too.
(darn chemo)

The nurse came in and settled me down, I got
a 3D pic taken of my body too & photos of my
surgery area.

my joys:
the bird songs woke me this morning
I got three hugs from Dr Jones
I wore blue jeans & look cute
I saw my grandson Caleb for a few minutes and got a kiss and hug from him too
a little nap
God keeps holding me, hearing all your prayers

PLEASE share yours too!!!

I am home & happy now
fondly, Deena

  8. THREE HUGS!!! Congratulations!

You always look beautiful, my friend and yes, sometimes you will be emotional, which is to be expected. Did you know that tears are healing? They cleanse our souls, so don't despair, my friend. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.

Hope you had a lovely President's Day. We had our first official Family Day in Ontario. I do hope that many families got to spend the day together.

Love you. Praying for you, Rich and Nichole, as always.
    Blessings,
    Mary

I like your attitude. Be positive as much as you can. I know it's hard. In the beginning I cried almost daily. I think that's pretty natural. Mine always happened around 5PM each day. But it ended and I moved on. The bible tells us our words are powerful so be sure to think, feel and speak postively. I don't know if you've seen this on my blog, but on the top of my sidebar I have my mantra. "I am a person who breast cancer was a part of my history...NOT a part of my future!"
Do everything the doctor tells you, take care of yourself, rest and stay positive. Before you know it, your chemo and radiation will be behind you. I'm praying for you.

    Hugs sweet friend!

  14. Deena...... You cry girl,,,,,,,God keeps those tears in a little bottle ....Do not forget that.......

Psa 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: [are they] not in thy book? He is asking,, you save my tears .. and are you keeping record of them in your book?

Yeah!!!!!! He is saving those tears.. He knows the meaning of each of them.....and THEN!!!!

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

    AMEN

  18. You look sooooo good, Deena! When I was going through chemo, I found strength by going over scriptures and old hymns in my mind. Somehow, God carried me though.

I was teaching school at the time and I remember telling my colleagues that I felt like I was being carried.

God's Word says that He will never leave us nor forsake us. I know that you are finding comfort in Him. He understands your tears.

When I lay my head on the pillow at night, I pray for you. Many other bloggers are praying for you. You are so blessed, dear friend!

I got to see my daughter, SIL and little granddaughter for three days straight.
My husband's and daughter's birthday was today and we celebrated just being together.
I got to do art today.
    My piano student cancelled.

  21. Good Evening Deena,
"PRAISE GOD" you got a good report from Dr. Jones. Of course, GOD is healing you. I know that had to be a good feeling for your doctor to give you 3 hugs. You don't see doctor's doing that kind of thing anymore. You look absolutely beautiful upon returning from the doctor's visit.
Things I'm happy for right now:
    1. Jesus dying on the cross to save me from my sins.
    2. Having you as a friend.
    3. Having a great weekend with my hubby.
    4. Finally being able to re-do my blog. LOL.
    5. Our oldest daughter is much better and was able to go back to School today.
I have so many things to be happy about, but I only listed a few. It's good that you cried because crying is good for the soul. It also makes you feel better too. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love, Hugs, & Prayers,
    Karen H.
P.S. I love your new header also.

You look so wonderful! If I didn't know it, I would never think you are fighting cancer. See, it is all about the attitude. You WILL beat it! I just know it!

  29. Deena, I just love your pictures. You look terrific without makeup and that smile is contagious. Cry all you want---I did it today at my drs. office. I too have some wonderful drs who take good care of me and they are all Christians. I even went to visit my favorite nurse Mona, and got a lot of hugs from her. She was there for me through 10 of my surgeries, so I am working on a Pay it Forward for the nurses in 3 West. God Bless you sweet Deena, Love Ya, Pat
ps, I only have 1 committement so far---they don't know what they will be missing-lol.

  30. Oh sweetie, if you had to shed tears, I hope you felt refreshed afterward. Cleansing tears can be a relief at times. Follow what is in your heart sometimes and try not to always be what you think that others around you need for you to be. It is a lot of work, hiding it all. When we are weak He is strong, right? I wish I looked cute in my jeans...sigh. Well, maybe in a few months! Jennifer

I hope that you have had a good night's rest and feeling fairly good this morning. I just wanted to let you know that when you felt like it and had time, drop by. I have a couple of things for you on my today's post. I haven't been asleep all night. I was sleepy when I went to bed, but just couldn't sleep. I am having my morning coffee now and out visiting a bit. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

  36. You DO look cute! I'm glad your visit went well.

I think I'd be scared of a 3D picture of my body. They don't put them up on the wall the way they do with babies at the pediatrician's office, do they? :)
