Far Away Eyes

tis me ..a lil bleary, worse for wear and tear..and my
eyes..well you know kinda eyes she got.
I love that song by the Stones...Faraway Eyes..when I
looked in the mirror today, those words came to mind.

Today was good, my friend Sheri came to babysit
while hubby went out to a job he had to do and
we had a good long talk.

I do feel a lil bleary, a bit worse for wear & tear..but I'm
still me.  I saw my legs yesterday when Rich was patting me
down after my shower ..OMG I need to shave them.  I told
Rich , I want to be a girl.  It'll happen...teeheehheee

I'm too tired to type and my right arm needs TLC..so I'll
try to share more tomorrow.

I did get the Pathology Report info from my doctor on
Saturday,  before I left the hospital. Once I get MY head
and heart around it..I'll share with you .. It was another "not
as good as we thought" report, but I am not afraid. I just
don't want my family and friends hurting for me.
AND
I know someone has survived EVERY type of cancer in EVERY stage
and I have lots of gardening to do...I've not met my purpose here
yet.

 The one thing I can tell you, is I am FULL of love..my cup runneth over
and that's the best feeling .
I'll be reading and educating myself, because Knowledge is Power!!
love in Him, deena

  4. Deena,

    Checking in to see how you are doing ... God has a plan, and you are being bathed in prayer!!!

    You are not walking this path alone. I see so many who've been where you are right now coming alongside you to be a lamp unto your feet. That is the "miracle" of the Internet. Caring people who can span miles, states, countries, continents to reach out in love and hope to help and listen.

    May you continue to be blessed ... and receive all that YOU need.

    Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    xo,
    Dana

    Continuing to pray for you. He says that if we ask in the name of Jesus, we shall recieve. I am asking that you can fully recover.

    His Eye is on the Sparrow
    Words by Civilla D. Martin, 1905

    Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
    Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
    When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

    “Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
    And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
    Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

    Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
    When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
    I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
    His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

    I sing because I’m happy,
    I sing because I’m free,
    For His eye is on the sparrow,
    And I know He watches me.

    Have a blessed day Deena.

    Love, Sharon

    Sharon, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" was just lovely. I will have to post that on my blog if you don't mind. It really moved my heart. I have my own illness I deal with on a daily basis, and reading this gives so much encouragement and is so very comforting.

    I will check back Deena...I think about you daily. You have inspired me so.

    Big Warm Hugs,
