Gifts..Mollye made the card & "believe" bracelet
& Lorraine of Pie Cake Prims made the HOPE angel.
Thank you my dear friends.

Tis a good thing..I've had so many well wishes, prayers, words
of faith hope and encouragement. Each one of you
has added something very special to my life.  We will
continue to travel this path together. God has
a plan ..I want to accomplish what He wants for me.

I must say..we are ready to travel the Healing Path of
this journey. Tomorrow will be a major step in that direction,
Praise God
My friend "Church" will be posting updates in the comments section here.
I would expect to be out of surgery around 3 PM tomorrow
..Rich will stay with me all night tomorrow..I am so thankful.
Tis me in the kitchen..my macbook has a built in camera..so easy to
snap pics of my BIG HEAD!!
LOL

My sweet friend Sally made this art treasure today using a
graphic I had..She knows "Oh, Holy Night" is
one of my favorite Christmas Hymns.
Isn't it lovely?? The manger is one I have to celebrate
Jesus' birth. Our dear Saviour.

Today has been good, Rich has been so protective
and loving. The house has been so peaceful, calm and cozy.
We've had ice storms, but it's good enough for us to go
out for dinner in a bit.
I will post when I am home and able to get the laptop out
Probably the FIRST thing I'll do.
I am not afraid of tomorrow..it will be GOOD to
get this cancer OUTTA HERE and move
on to
Ok, now let's get WELL
and in the words of a blog friend..
God's Gotcha!!
fondly, Deena
see you all soon..
I know the BLOG will take at least 75 comments!!
Will that be enough for 3-5 days??

  1. I found your blog thru Sweet Dreams blog today. I read through all your posts and all I can say is you are one very, very brave woman. I hope to get back on here and found out tomorrow you came thru your surgery just fine and have your DH right there with you where he needs to be.
I am so sorry for the worry you have been subjected to this last 2 or 3 years. You still have a beautiful outlook and I wish you a speedy recovery sweet lady.

  3. Deena, I came acroos your blog from visiting Becky at Sweet Dreams Cottage.
Good Luck with the surgery and I will be thinking of you.
My mother-in-law was diagnosed in 2004 with Breast Cancer and after surgery and treatment she is cancer free. We are thankful for her positive outcome after each checkup visit to her surgeon.
    Take care and stay positive.

  8. Dear Deena, Just know that we are here roooooting for you! You are so beautiful..inside and out...and He will take care of you. I just know it. I am so happy to have discovered your blog and can only know that God has His hand in doing so. I have never had cancer, yet I can only imagine what it would be like. My Aunt had a double mastectomy years ago (cystic breasts, no cancer) and I have the same thing she does. Itty bitties, but still it worries me. Yearly mamo's are a-ok though. But, I can only imagine what you are going through. We are here...waiting to hear how you come out of surgery. God Bless you and your DH! Hugs all across the miles, Becky and Duhgall (my loving Scotty Dog)

  9. PS: O Holy Night is my favorite, too. I have it on my music list...sung by the fabulous Martina McBride. The song has always given me goose bumps whenever I hear it.

  15. Dear Deena, I am praying for you right now. God bless you in your recovery. You have a beautiful, tranquil scene outside your home to enjoy. It was nice seeing a picture of you too. You are too funny about the "big head". You are a very lovely woman. I hope and pray the devotional book will minister to your heart in the days ahead.

    In Jesus' love,
    Susan

  16. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

    Malachi 4:2 (NIV)

    Praying this verse for you.

And so today and during your recovery, May the Lord bless and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Praying for a swift and speedy recovery. (((h)))
